EDU segment

The EDU segment adds detailed educational information to the staff member identified by the STF segment. An EDU segment may optionally follow an STF segment. An EDU segment must always have been preceded by a corresponding STF segment.

Count the pipes to find a field, and count the empty ones too: an empty field still holds its place. Leave out the separator before EDU-3 and its value arrives as EDU-2, so the receiver stores Academic Degree Program Date Range as Academic Degree.
