LCC segment

The Technical Steward for the LCC segment is PA. The optional LCC segment identifies how a patient location room can be billed by a certain department. A department can use different charge codes for the same room or bed, so there can be multiple LCC segments following an LDP segment.

Count the pipes to find a field, and count the empty ones too: an empty field still holds its place. Leave out the separator before LCC-2 and its value arrives as LCC-1, so the receiver stores Location Department as Primary Key Value - LCC.
