RQ1 contains additional detail for each nonstock requisitioned item. This segment definition is paired with a preceding RQD segment.

Count the pipes to find a field, and count the empty ones too: an empty field still holds its place. Leave out the separator before RQ1-2 and its value arrives as RQ1-1, so the receiver stores Manufacturer Identifier as Anticipated Price.
